Cherry Gothic Lolita

Original Fruit Bowl Lolitas

This costume was an integration of a bunch of designs. I took designs from Metamophose, Baby the Stars Shine Bright, and some of my own favorite fashion elements.

The costume is by my mom and I. I almost finished all of it before I went to work, the night before leaving for the con. My mom finished it because I worked late.

The seams were all serged, then topstitched. The lace was added on for the top stitching. The bodice was lined with the same fabric and we encased the lace between the two layers, reducing the itch factor. I drafted the sleeves, taking the original long sleeve patter and making it into a short poof sleeve.

The hairbows were made in the car on the way to Anime Central 2008.
