I've worked on several plays and musicals for my school as a designer and costumer. I've been making costumes and wigs since I was 12, and I'm very confident in my ability to create a piece you will love. I specialize in updos and layered styles. I can naturalize about any style you can show me, and I can do them accurate and toony as well. Feel free to email me for a quote.

If you are looking to commission from me PLEASE completely read the policies below. Although Lunaladyoflight.net is not a large business, it is MY business. I will not be leniant or change a policy just for one person, so don't even ask.

Lastly, before you read my novel... If you think my prices are too high, go to someone else. I do negotiate prices but I'm not that flexible. People are willing to pay for my work because they like it and they know I'm great at what I do.

Policies

As a commissioner I reserve the right to refuse anyone service for any reason. I also reserve the right to price things as I see fit, my time is very valuable to me. I require a minimum of 4 weeks to complete a project, this time can fluxuate up or down depending on the difficulty of the project. I try to turn over orders as quickly as I can but sometimes things happen.

I am also not responsible for your piece being damaged in the mail. To prevent that I offer a more expensive, safe-shipping technique. If you choose to decline it, the risk of damage to your project is your own fault.

If you fail to provide me with a specific date you require your item by, I cannot be responsible for it not showing up on time. I also cannot shift around orders because you decided you wanted your wig sooner. It is your duty as the customer to give me a solid date. This is why I request you include a deadline with your quote request.

You also cannot bribe me to slipping you in early. I've already had someone try that. I don't allow it. Others have given specific dates and paid, be respectful of them and especially of me.

I do not reserve slots without at least a partial payment, I do not order materials and items without a full payment.

I try to communicate as often as possible. There are times when I cannot get online for a couple days, do NOT send me multiple emails questioning if your piece is finished.

For pieces that require measurements you MUST supply me with accurate and concise measurements. I am not responsible for you not being able to measure correctly. If you have any doubts about your measuring techniques, please see a miliner, hairstylist, or tailor to get proper measurments.

I do NOT accept returns. Commissioned pieces are custom made and therefore cannot be sold to anyone else. If you are unhappy with your piece and want to sell it, go ahead.

No piece made by Lunaladyoflight.net is to be entered into a competition or masquerade without proper credit given and written permission of me. You MUST bring proof of permission with you to the judging of your costume.

Our standards of quality are the highest. You cannot expect to get a $50 wig from me. I have considerable experience and turn out spectacular products. However you also cannot expect extreme perfection and picture matching. Wig styling is an art, and as an artist I reserve the right to artistic interpretation. If I know something will look stupid in real life on a cosplayer I'll make it look good. I ALWAYS send pictures before I ship, that way I can take care of whatever you want fixed or changed (granted it is within reason).

I prefer that all payments are to be made via Paypal, through the address I send you in the finalized pricing email. DO NOT send Paypal payments to Goldenluna87 (at) yahoo (dot) com, they will go unclaimed. You must WAIT for me to send you the correct address and required Paypal fee.

If you do not prefer paypal then I accept money orders and cashiers checks. My mailing address is provided upon order finalization.

I also allow payment plans, and know full well that some pieces cannot be paid for all at once. Talk to me and I will do my best to help you set up a plan that works.

However I do require that items be FULLY PAID before I even order your materials. So if you are on a budget, plan accordingly. Begin your payment plan in enough time for you to pay for your item and for the time allotted to finish it.

On the lighter side, please take lots of pictures! I take wig head pictures of every item from multiple angles before they ship, but I want to see them together with your whole costume. You and I have worked hard and I think I should get to see the harmony we've created between artists' renderings.

If your costume was commissioned, let me know I will credit your commissioner and link to them. Please send them my banner so they may link to me in return.
