I love the colors in this costume. The main reason I made is it because of the colors. I adore rainbows and pink.

We started with a base pattern and considerably lengthened the skirt. The collar pattern was taken from previous Sailor Moon attempts. We used a nice nylon/lycra for the bodice and a casa satin for the shirt and collar. The bootcovers were magenta lycra, and the bows were recycled from a previous costume. The back bow was a sheer pink and wired.

The colors were painted on individually. It took 18 houts to paint the skirt, and 45 minutes to paint the collar.

The wig began as a base wig and four packs of extensions. I pulled it up into pigtails and filled in the back with no-sew wefts. It was then stubbed, odangoed, and the tails were attached. The bangs were curled using a round brush and a hairdryer. Also TONS of wig spray.

The odango shields are resin, purchased on eBay. The hairclips are pearls with feathers.

This costume is currently retired, and taken apart for use in future pieces.
