Princess Zelda
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

I love this costume. Hands down I love this costume. Firstly I'm going to stalk about the fabric, my favorite part of this costume. The blue was a nice woven fabric that gave it a very earthy feel. The white was not solid white, it had a check in it's weave and gave a bit of depth to an otherwise blank color.
We didn't use an official pattern. My mom and I picked out a basic dress and built on it from there. The sleeves were drafted, and the collar was cut from another pattern we had previously used. I serged all the edges and pressed the entire hemline. We put it together using both the serger and my new Viking 300.
The main reason why I picked this costume is because I'd never seen it cosplayed before. I love to cosplay things no one has ever seen or done, because then people remember them.
The ears are by Daguru, earrings by MissShanksAlot. My brooch was made for me by my boyfriend's father. My belt is Liz Claiborne.
